Latest news mentioning now confirm that RIM will soon launch the first tablet computer made by those who were given the code name BlackPad or Cobalt
RIM is also reportedly ordered 8.9-inch sized screen in a large number of technology companies called Hon Hai.

BBLeaks site also reported that those in the RIM is not identified, said the Canadian company is developing a tablet computer, code-named BlackPad or Cobalt. BlackPad allows users to watch videos, read ebooks, and e-magazine as well as listening to music, and write a note or give a sign on the reminder. 
Perhaps this tablet computer will have a more slender physique and thinner than its competitors, and has the functionality and compatibility with BlackBerry OS completely. Another evidence that reinforces this rumor that the launch of the newest BlackBerry OS version 6.0 which has many features to support a touch screen device. 
RIM is still silent about any plans of the product tablets. Meanwhile, RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis had time to touch the tablet about last month when asked questions in Engadged. But he did not reveal whether RIM's own devices will do it. Whether that is true, is still unclear. RIM itself has made no official statement related to these rumors.
